Amazon profit calculator: what each unit actually earns

Seller Central reports revenue. This works out the number underneath it — net profit per unit after referral fees, FBA, returns, storage and advertising, plus the break-even ACoS your campaigns need to stay above.

How to read it

Break-even ACoS is the number most sellers never calculate

Your break-even ACoS is the point where an advertised sale earns you nothing. Spend above it and every additional order makes you poorer, however good the revenue chart looks.

What the calculator is doing

Contribution per unit is the selling price minus everything Amazon and your supply chain take: referral fee, FBA fulfilment, storage, landed product cost, the cost of returns, and any per-unit extras. That figure — before advertising — divided by the selling price is your break-even ACoS.

Advertising is then applied against the share of orders that actually come from ads, rather than against every order, because organic sales carry no ad cost. That is why blended profitability and ACoS tell you different things, and why TACoS matters more than ACoS once organic share grows.

  • Returns are charged as the full unit cost plus the fulfilment fee
  • Advertising is applied only to the ad-attributed share of orders
  • Referral fee is taken on the selling price, as Amazon does
  • Nothing is uploaded — the maths runs entirely in your browser

Now do it for every ASIN in your catalogue.

This calculator handles one product. The free audit rebuilds your whole catalogue into net profit per ASIN, which is usually where the loss-making products turn up.
