Listings written to convert the traffic you already pay for.

Amazon listing optimization grounded in real search-term data — titles, bullets, backend terms and image sequencing rebuilt around what buyers in your category actually search for and actually buy.

What’s included

What Amazon Listing Optimization includes

01

Keyword research from your data

Relevant terms are pulled from your own converting search-term reports and competitor coverage, not from a generic volume list that ignores whether a term ever sells.

02

Title and bullet rewrite

Titles carry the terms that rank without becoming unreadable. Bullets answer the objections that stop the purchase, in the order buyers actually raise them.

03

Backend and indexing

Search terms, subject matter and attribute fields filled correctly so the listing indexes for everything it should, and verified afterwards rather than assumed.

04

Image sequence strategy

Image order rebuilt around the decision path — what the product is, what it solves, scale and fit, what is in the box — because most buyers decide before reading a word.

05

A+ content direction

Module selection and copy built to lift conversion and average order value, with comparison charts that push buyers to the higher-margin variant.

06

Variation and parentage fixes

Variations consolidated so reviews and sales history compound onto one family rather than splitting across orphaned children.

The work

Traffic is not the problem in most stalled accounts

A listing that gets sessions and does not convert is more expensive than one that gets no traffic at all, because every one of those sessions was paid for. When conversion rate sits below category norm the fix is rarely more advertising — it is that the page fails to answer something the buyer needed before committing, or that the images do not establish scale, or that the title indexes for terms with buying intent the product does not actually match.

The work is sequential: research which terms convert, write to them, verify indexing, then rebuild images and A+ around the objection order. On one account this took monthly sales from $78K to $214K and held the Featured Offer 100% of the time within 60 days. On another, sessions rose 4.1x while conversion moved from 3.04% to 4.83% — the traffic and the ability to close it improved together.

What is Amazon listing optimization, and why does it matter?

Amazon listing optimization is the work of making a product page both findable and persuasive: keyword research, title and bullet copy, backend search terms, image sequencing, A+ content and variation structure. It targets two numbers at once — organic rank, which decides how many people see the listing, and conversion rate, which decides how many of them buy.

It matters because those two numbers feed each other. Amazon ranks listings partly on how well they convert, so a page that closes better rises in search, gets more free traffic, and lowers the ACoS on every paid click at the same time. A weak listing does the reverse, and no amount of ad budget corrects it.

Common problems

What this fixes

  • Sessions are healthy but the conversion rate sits below category average
  • The listing does not appear for keywords it clearly should rank for
  • Copy was written once at launch and never revisited against real data
  • Images do not establish size, scale or what is actually in the box
  • Variations are split, so reviews and sales history never compound
  • A+ content exists but reads as decoration rather than as argument
How it works

Research, rewrite, verify

Baseline the numbers

Current sessions, conversion rate, organic rank and indexed terms are recorded before anything changes, so the effect of the rewrite is measurable rather than assumed. The rules here change regularly, so the current position is always checked against Amazon’s Seller Central help hub rather than assumed.

Keyword and competitor map

Converting terms are pulled from your search-term reports and cross-checked against what competitors rank for and where the gaps sit.

Rewrite and rebuild

Title, bullets, description, backend terms, image sequence and A+ modules are rewritten around the mapped terms and the objection order.

Verify and monitor

Indexing is checked term by term after publish, and rank and conversion tracked against the baseline for the following weeks.

Amazon Listing Optimization FAQ

Is listing optimization a one-off or ongoing?

The rewrite is a project; keeping it current is ongoing. Search behaviour shifts, competitors reposition, and seasonal terms move. The rewrite is included in every plan from Basic upward, and gets revisited rather than treated as finished.

How long before rank changes?

Indexing is usually visible within days. Meaningful rank movement takes longer, typically 30 to 90 days, because Amazon needs sales velocity at the new terms before it moves you up for them. Conversion-rate gains from better copy and images tend to show first.

Will you rewrite my brand voice?

The copy has to sound like your brand and stay inside your claim boundaries, particularly in regulated categories. Existing brand language is kept and the structure around it changed, and everything is sent for approval before it goes live.

Do you handle restricted or regulated categories?

Yes. Supplements, health and personal care are a significant share of the work, which means writing persuasive copy that stays inside Amazon’s claim rules. Non-compliant claims are the fastest route to a suppressed listing, so they are removed rather than risked.

What about A+ content and images — do you design them?

Direction, module selection, copy and the image sequence brief are provided. Production is coordinated with your designer, or with ours if you do not have one.
