What’s included

What Amazon account health work includes

01

Account health monitoring

ODR, late shipment, cancellation and policy metrics watched continuously, because the gap between a warning and an enforcement action is often days.

02

Suppressed listing recovery

Suppressed and inactive listings diagnosed and restored, whether the cause is an image standard, a missing attribute or a flagged claim.

03

Restricted claim review

Copy reviewed against category claim rules before it publishes. In supplements and health this is the single most common route to a takedown.

04

Policy violation response

Violations answered with a documented root cause and a corrective plan, rather than a templated appeal that invites a second rejection.

05

Documentation packs

Invoices, certificates, test reports and supplier documentation assembled to the standard Amazon actually accepts rather than the one sellers assume.

06

Preventative review

Recurring causes get fixed at source, so the same category of problem stops reappearing every quarter.

The work

The work most freelancers will not touch

Compliance is where accounts actually die. A listing family pulled during peak, a claim flagged in a category with strict rules, a certification that fails on labelling rather than on contents — these do not announce themselves in advance and they do not resolve by resubmitting the same appeal. They resolve by identifying the specific requirement that was missed and evidencing that it has been fixed.

On one supplement account, eight separate policy issues were resolved across a twelve-month engagement. At the worst point there were eleven open requirements with revenue at risk and a hard deadline, and a product family pulled for five weeks before reinstatement. That account went on to grow monthly revenue from $3,488 to $23,668 — but none of that growth would have existed if the compliance work had not been handled first.

What is Amazon account health, and why does it matter?

Amazon account health is the composite of performance metrics and policy compliance that determines whether you keep selling: order defect rate, late shipment and cancellation rates, valid tracking, policy violations, intellectual property complaints, restricted product compliance and listing accuracy. Amazon scores it continuously and enforces against it without negotiation.

It matters because the downside is total rather than proportional. A poor ACoS costs margin; a suspension costs the entire revenue line, plus the rank and review history that took years to build. Account health is the only area of Amazon work where the return on attention is measured in what does not happen.

Common problems

What this fixes

  • A policy warning you do not fully understand and cannot risk getting wrong
  • Listings suppressed with an error message that explains nothing
  • Claim wording in a regulated category that may or may not be compliant
  • An appeal already rejected once, with no idea what was missing
  • Certification or documentation requests with a deadline attached
  • Metrics drifting toward a threshold with no one watching them
How it works

Diagnose, evidence, prevent

Triage

Every open issue is listed with its deadline and the revenue exposed, so the sequence follows risk rather than whatever arrived most recently. The rules here change regularly, so the current position is always checked against Amazon’s Seller Central help hub rather than assumed.

Root cause

The actual requirement that was breached gets identified — not the surface error message, which frequently describes a symptom rather than a cause.

Evidence and respond

A documented response is assembled with the specific proof Amazon accepts for that violation type, and a corrective plan that addresses recurrence.

Prevent recurrence

The upstream cause is fixed in the listing, the catalog or the documentation, so the same issue does not return next quarter.

Account Health & Compliance FAQ

Can you guarantee reinstatement?

No, and nobody honestly can — the decision is Amazon’s. What improves the odds is identifying the actual root cause and evidencing the fix properly, rather than resubmitting a generic appeal that gets rejected a second time and makes the next attempt harder.

How fast can a suppressed listing come back?

Straightforward cases — a missing attribute, an image standard breach — often resolve in days. Claim and certification issues take longer because documentation has to be assembled and reviewed. Timelines are set by Amazon, not by us.

Do you work in restricted categories?

Yes. Supplements and health and personal care are a significant part of the work, including compliance around claims, certifications and labelling. Non-compliant claim language gets removed from copy as a matter of course rather than left as an accepted risk.

What if my appeal was already rejected?

That is a common starting point and it is recoverable, but the second attempt has to be materially different. Resubmitting the same plan of action with new wording is the most reliable way to make the situation worse.

Is this included in the plans?

Monitoring is part of Growth. Full compliance work, appeals and plans of action are included in Premium at $1,999 a month. Urgent one-off reinstatement work can be scoped separately if you are not on a plan.
